Work that we did....

Nothing really was going on for us last weekend, when I say weekend that’s Friday and Saturday for us (because that’s my hubby’s day off from work now) anyway we just stayed home last Friday for he had to go to work for a couple of hours in the morning and so in the evening. But we went out last Saturday very late in the afternoon already for we had to go to Best Buy to pick up some wires/cable for out TV. Paul decided to connect everything together now, like the surround sound which was purchased last year, our Television, Satellite dish and DVD Player. We were trying to figure out how to make it work but were not electronics Type of person. The guy from Geek Squad Best Buy was really nice enough to show us how to connect everything. And it turn out that, it wasn’t really hard at all…Sometimes this manual was just confusing but now, we are just enjoying what we put up together. But before we end up our day last Saturday we went to a Birthday Party click here to learn more ;)

Great person like Hector Kabande..

We hear it every day, on TV, radio, newspaper and other form of media advertising about successful people. Most of them are being featured and recognize on TV, radios, magazines and etc. and for others a simple word of appreciation is highly cherished. These are the people that you look up to, you admire them for their courage, hard work and perseverance. Just like
Hector Kabande who grew up in a family circle where the most important morals were family, great food and hospitality. He stays humble and a down to earth person in spite of his achievements in life…

Lake Tahoe

hi guys,,, sorry its been awhile now since i made my last entry,, just a little bit busy lately, my aunt and cousin from Fresno California were here for a 5days visit. They arrived last Friday afternoon taking an Amtrak Train from Fresno to Sacramento and Amtrak Bus from Sacramento to Reno. Saturday the following day, we took them to Lake Tahoe, our first stop was Kings beach for a quick lunch then we walk down to Emerald bay where the Old mansion is and the water falls…it was actually a pretty long walk about 1mile down from the parking… And after that long ang tiring walk, were supposed to go to the bike race, but decided not to anymore for we are all tired and wet because of the rain and just decided to go home... Thank God...

Vehicle Repair

It’s so hard to be involved in a car accident nowadays. You have to go through a lot of stuff just to make everything in a pre-accident form. No matter how careful you are on the road, there’s always something and somebody who doesn’t seems to care. There might be a lot of reasons for all this commotions on the road but its always nice to be a safe driver. It’s not just your life that is at stake on the road you know, but thousands of other innocent’s life. But as what others would say, “accident is accident” and it’s so hard to predict when this is going to happen even though how cautious we are. That is why there’s a company online called auto body buena park to help us drivers deal with this tragedy with a peace of mind. They are the experts in the field of restoring damaged vehicles. My Fathers Day Gift

Today Friday, after our furnace has been service we went to Reno to do our weekly routines. When were almost down to our final stop for the day hubby suggested to stop by in RC Willey just to take a look around because its been awhile since the last time we were there. We loved this store for they have a lot of nice stuff from furniture, flooring and appliances perfect for any budget. So when we happened to be at their patio display area hubby saw this nice patio set that comes with a nice swing perfect for our backyard this summer. So since I didn’t get anything for him yet on Fathers day, so we both decided to get the Patio Set with swing and that would be my Fathers Day gift for him… How cool is that ha? At least I don’t have to worry no more for his Fathers Day gift.

Dinner with friends...

We got back so late last night, I met with my hubby at work yesterday around 5pm, arriving there at 5pm was a bit surprising for me, considering that traffic was just so crazy that time… Anyway we took his car because that’s where the baby’s car seat is and we went to a friend’s house. I thought that were supposed to have dinner at their place, but apparently not, our friend just got back from Sacramento so they were so busy and tired to prepare, but they took us at Peppermill Hotel and Casino that was my first time there for more than 2years now and the food was fabulous. I had a stir fry vegetable with shrimp, chicken and beef… Wasn’t really hard to decide on what to order especially for someone so hungry like me…

So after dinner we all went back to their place, hubby and our male friend had something important to discuss. So their daughter, my son, his wife and I were all in their living room watching TV and putting my son to sleep when his wife gave me some delicious Chinese food which they bought in Asian store in Sacramento and they were all yummy.

Never gets contented....

It’s been more than 3 months now since I book our plane ticket to the Philippines. When I started looking for a plane ticket,,, all I wanted was the cheapest possible fare available… hubby keep telling me to book it through PAL which is more easier considering I will be traveling with an infant… Spend a fair amount of time online searching for a cheap one, but things didn’t turned out the way I expect them to be…So I gave-in, and will consider PAL already, good thing that a friend of mine recommended me to a traveling agency which he’s been using for a long time now.. So I gave it a try, I called and asked for quote. Still wasn’t convinced so I tried calling another travel agency again which I saw online just to compare.. But you know what, I end up going back to the travel agency that my friend recommend because I find them a lot cheaper than booking your ticket online…
So like what I said its been more than 3months now.. and I'm still kinda comparing prices online and even with other travel agencies just to say that I made the right choice and you know what… It is really the right decision.. So if you wanted to know the name of the travel agency that I used, you know just to compare prizes, just give me a buzz

Busy weekend...

When I was still learning how to drive way back when, hubby used to tell me that, I should bring him to the airport and pick him up also after a few days. That was before when he was still traveling, but I didn’t have the chance and courage to do so. I was just so scared to drive that time… But the other day when he’s not really feeling well I brought him to the doctors. Or should I say I drive him to the doctors…I called the doctor’s office that Monday early morning to make an appointment and good know that they will be able to get us in at 1:00pm that very same day. Doctors say may hubby had a viral infection which is very common now a days because he gets the same complain also from his patients. But anyway
doctor prescribed him a medicine now and not over the counter one’s because they doesn’t really seem to work very well… you know for coughs and colds… Well he’s on hi way to recovery now feeling a lot better than before and hope me and my son wont get sick also…
