Clearance

Guess how much money did it cost me to buy these name brand chocolates? Yes, your absolutely right, almost next to nothing…though I paid $14.00 for all of this because its 75 % off from its original price…yup, you heard me right.. 75 % off, hey why pay the full price when you can get it cheap right? Well I know what you guys are thinking, that I’m kuripot (thrifty) I get that a lot, well there’s nothing wrong with it, as long as I’m saving why not. That’s why I love bargain shopping who doesn’t?

Perspective

( this was forwarded to me by a good friend name roy, i thought it
was nice so i wanna share this with you)

Perspective One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, 'How was the trip?' 'It was great, Dad.' 'Did you see how poor people live?' the father asked. 'Oh yeah,' said the son. 'So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?' asked the father The son answered: 'I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.' The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added , 'Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.' Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have. Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! Pass this on to family, friends and acquaintances and help them refresh their perspective and appreciation. 'Life is too short and friends are too few.' Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest; but about who came and never left your side.

Music to my ear

At 3 months old my sons very first word was “hi” nope it wasn’t dada as what they will all tell you. We were both so excited about it, you know hearing your sons very first word. Then at 4 and half months he started saying dadada, and then followed by didididi…. The following morning which was Valentines day, while my hubby was in the bathroom, shaving before going to work my baby boy who was only 4 and half months that time just suddenly utter the words “daddy” we were both so surprised and excited (you know how does it feel) I think it was our sons valentines gift for us, it was surely indeed a great one and it truly made our day… Then one morning last week, while I was feeding him with cereal, I keep saying the words”dada dada”, “bababba” and “mamama” He just all of a sudden say “ma” loud and clear, and I asked him if he could say it again, it seems that he truly understand me because he actually said “MAMA” man, that feels better, hearing your baby saying the word mama was actually pretty cool, a music to my ears… I’m sure most parents could relate me to this experienced…And it truly indeed put a big smile on mama’s face that day… Its just a music to my ear that I didn’t wait till lunch time to call my husband who is at work to tell the good news….

Mommy time...

Did you sleep well last night? Ah don’t tell me,,, I didn’t either.. that’s because my 6months old baby boy was sick… yes he’s sick, he already had colds few days before his immunization and brought him to the doctor hoping they would prescribed him medicine but apparently not, doctor says just give him plenty of fluid and keep suctioning his nose and hopefully that will help him feel better and sure enough it did really help but not for long because few days after I had to bring him back to the doctor for his 6months immunization. I pity my son so much that I had wished I could help him. But anyway after 3injections and 1drop he seems to pretty much settle down after awhile although it didn’t took that long for him to stop crying….but the following day he did have fever and it took 3drops of infant Tylenol with in 24hours to make him better and thank god he’s now doing fine… Sometimes how I wish I was in the Philippines, why? Well its because you can always hire a nanny specially when you need a “me time”. I loved my son so dearly and I love this job so much (you now the mommy job) that sometimes its not bad to take a break…Mommy’s need to re-charged also one’s in awhile ...Remember a healthy mommys means a healthy a baby.. I think i definitely agree with this... ;)

Reminiscing the canada trip

while watching my son today as he keeps making noise with his balloon (you know how children like those screeching sounds of the balloon ) I happened to drop by at the memory lane, you know browsing all your photos that had been saved in your computer, without any reason you just want to keeping looking at them just to rekindle the past.. But anyway I happened to like this photo that was taken in front of the Niagara falls it was actually an amazing view. I remember our time there, we had so much fun, that’s the time when my cousin Caryl was getting married and of course what’s the used of going to a wedding without sigh seeing right? As much as I would love to post more pictures during the Canada trip, but Im sad to say that I didn’t have that much photos,, that’s because my memory card which I bought online hoping to have a much bigger capacity 500photos didn’t really seem to worked and what’s worst is that we came back home and found out that there were only 5photos stored in my camera… Good thing my cousin who was also their because she the maid of honor was kind and patient enough to send me some photos during our trip.. At least it wasn’t really bad at all huh?… I may have lost all the pictures that was taken in my camera but the memories shared during the trip will always be remembered.. By the way that lady on the picture is my aunt mae, who was the reason or shall i say who served as the bridge between me and my hubby hehehe

The Beard

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I don't believe that God exists.' 'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to goout in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.' The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered thebarber shop again and he said to the barber: 'You know what? Barbers do not exist.' 'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber. 'I am here, and I ama barber. And I just worked on you!' 'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, likethat man outside.' 'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not cometo me.' 'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOESexist! That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Himfor help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.' courtesy of my good friend Corazon...

Be Infected

Smiling Is Infectious

Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today,I started smiling too.
I passed around the cornerand someone saw my grin.

When he smiled I realizedI'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile, then I realized its worth.

A single smile, just like minecould travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin, don't leave it undetected.

Let's start an epidemic quick, and get the world infected!

Thanks to the Gift Certificate

Been looking for a Exersaucer Delux for my 6months old baby boy now,,,and boy oh boy they were so pricey, we’ve been to a couple of department stores who were offering some discounts but it still doesn’t seem to be a good buy for…One day when I was browsing the internet it just hit me that I had a gift certificate from amazon worth $50.00 from the previous purchased. So I went to their website and found out that they have the Exersaucer deluxe on stock and ready to be ship anytime for 39.99 plus the shipping and handling for $13.19 and not to mention that I have a $50 dollar gift certificate and so I end up paying only $3.18. Now that’s what you call a good buy….

It only takes a few click to make a difference

A favor to ask, it only takes a minute.... * I * 6 *Y Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors /advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know. http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/
