Child's Milestone Development 7-12months

Read on baby center website about the milestone chart of baby's 7 - 12months of age. Im very particular about his so that i can monitor my baby's progress. I think it's one of those stuff that parents are so concerned about. But anyway hope you will find it also interesting. (M S- for mastered Skills) (E S -for Emerging Skills) (A S-for Advanced Skills)

7 months
M S (most kids can do) • Sits without support• Drags objects toward herself
E S (half of kids can do) • Lunges forward or starts crawlingJabbers or combines syllables
• Starts to experience stranger anxiety
A S (a few kids can do)• Waves goodbye• Stands while holding onto something• Bangs objects together• Begins to understand object permanence

8 months
M S • Says "mama" and "dada" to both parents (isn't specific)• Passes objects from hand to hand
E S • Stands while holding onto something• Crawls• Points at objects• Searches for hidden objects
A S • Pulls self to standing, cruises• Picks things up with thumb-finger pincer grasp• Indicates wants with gestures

9 months
M S • Stands while holding onto something• Jabbers or combines syllables• Understands object permanence
E S • Cruises while holding onto furniture• Drinks from a sippy cupEats with fingers• Bangs objects together
